As a group we will read a translation of the text, discuss its archetypal symbolism, and explore some journaling prompts to help frame our experiences of Venus’ Retrograde period throughout October and November 2026.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVenus Retrogrades, like Inanna’s time in the underworld, are periods where we redefine our values surrounding love, relationships, creativity, and desire. The story of the goddess’ transformation through death and rebirth reflects the cyclical nature of these areas in our own lives. This workshop proposes a reading of Venus beyond its stereotypical meanings connected to femininity and receptivity. Venus, like our values, relationships, and desires to create, is a multifaceted, autonomous, sometimes paradoxical force that is lost and found again, continually redefining itself as new shapes and forms.
