Elle Caraway, who also writes under the name Leslie Kimmelman, is the author of more than fifty books for children, both fiction and nonfiction. She was a children's book editor for many years, including almost twenty-five years at Sesame Workshop. She is the author of We're Amazing, 1, 2, 3, A Story About Friendship and Autism, the book that first introduced Sesame Street's Julia. Leslie lives just outside New York City and--shhh!--is extremely ticklish.

Barry Goldberg has illustrated more than 200 picture books mostly based on popular children's characters from Sesame Street, the Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Scholastic, and the Henson Company. He lives on Long Island, New York, with his wife, who is a public school teacher. They have three grown children.
