Largely lost to time, these stunners include Atco's dizzying love dreams, Camden's underground mystical labyrinth, Glassboro's UFO frenzy, and the origin of the "cursed" Deptford portion of Route 55. Local author Danielle L. Burrows collected and researched these happenings and presents them here with detail and aplomb.

Raised in South Jersey, Danielle Burrows is continually drawn to regional and cultural history. A writer by trade, she authored Images of America: Clementon and has worked on projects of many stripes including the Shudder documentary, Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror. She recently completed a certificate program in historic preservation through the Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities (MARCH) at Rutgers University-Camden. Danielle lives with her husband and rescue dog just over the bridge from South Jersey in another storied south: South Philly.
